Understanding Laser Treatment

What To Expect
The duration of a laser session varies based on the treated area's size. Hair has active, resting, and dormant growth phases, and multiple treatments are needed to affect the majority of hair permanently.
How Many Treatments?
Significant improvement is often seen in 4-5 treatments for legs, underarms, and bikini areas, while the face may require 8-9 treatments. Treatments are typically scheduled 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.
What It Feels Like
Most patients report minimal discomfort, with a mild stinging sensation during the laser pulse. The CoolGlide™ handpiece's cold tip soothes the skin, and GentleLASE™ delivers a cooling gas spray before and after the laser pulse.
Post-Treatment
Resume normal activities immediately after treatment. Sunscreen is recommended for sun-exposed areas throughout the treatment period. Shedding of treated hairs may occur in the next two weeks, and between sessions, only shaving is advised.
Complications
Redness and local swelling, similar to sunburn, may occur, lasting a few hours or less. In rare cases, redness may persist for a day or two.
